Terms of Service

Every Day In Singapore provides talent sourcing, casting coordination, and facilitation services.

We act strictly as an independent intermediary connecting Clients with Individuals.

Straits Talents is a talent management and casting coordination service. We represent individuals for freelance commercial engagements including advertising, modelling, events, and production projects. We do not place individuals in permanent or fixed-term employment, and do not carry out activities requiring an Employment Agency licence under the Employment Agencies Act (Cap. 92A).

All engagements facilitated through Straits Talents are project-based contracts between the Client and the Individual as an independent contractor. No employer-employee relationship is created between any Individual and the Agency or any Client as a result of any introduction or booking made through our platform or services.

Where a Talent Management Agreement is separately executed between Straits Talents and an Individual, that agreement governs the representation relationship, including commission, exclusivity, and booking procedures. These Terms of Service govern use of the website and platform for all users, regardless of whether a Talent Management Agreement is in place.

You may register for an account as a Talent or Client. Your account role determines which features are accessible to you, including your personal dashboard, application history, and request management.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your login details with any third party. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, submit false information, or misuse the platform in any way.

Sign-in via third-party OAuth providers (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn) is supported. By using OAuth sign-in, you authorise us to receive your basic profile information from that provider as part of the authentication process.

Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, agency, or partnership between Every Day In Singapore and any Individual or Client.

All engagements for projects are direct contracts between the Client and the Individual, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

Every Day In Singapore is an independent contractor and is not responsible for the performance or conduct of any Individual introduced.

The Client agrees not to bypass Every Day In Singapore to engage any Individual introduced by us.

For a period of 24 months following the introduction of an Individual, the Client shall not solicit or contract said Individual directly without our prior written consent and payment of applicable fees.

Breach of this clause may result in a penalty fee equivalent to the lost commission or service fee, as determined by Every Day In Singapore.

The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that all work arrangements and environments strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Singapore.

This includes, but is not limited to, workplace safety, tax obligations, and employment standards.

The Client must obtain all necessary filming permits, child participation licenses, and insurance coverage (including public liability) for their projects.

The Client is responsible for negotiating terms, payments, and safety conditions directly with the Individuals engaged.

A request submitted via the website may be cancelled by the Client through their dashboard while its status is New. Once the agency has begun active work on a request, cancellation is handled individually and may be subject to the fees described in section 7.

Submitting a talent application constitutes consent to having your information reviewed by our team and, if approved, included in our active talent database for the purpose of matching you with client projects.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you submit is accurate and up to date. Submitting false or misleading information may result in rejection or removal from our database.

We reserve the right to decline or reject any application without providing a reason. Submission does not guarantee approval or any particular outcome.

You will be notified by email when your application status changes. If changes to your profile are requested, you may make edits and resubmit through your dashboard.

Service fees are agreed upon separately via Quotation or Invoice.

All fees are non-refundable once services (sourcing or coordination) have been performed.

Partial work completed may be billable at our discretion.

We reserve the right to charge interest at 1% per month on any overdue balances.

We make reasonable efforts to match Individuals to project requirements, but availability is not guaranteed.

Final selection decisions remain the sole responsibility of the Client.

If a Client cancels a confirmed request within 24 hours of the scheduled start, a cancellation fee may apply as per the specific service agreement.

Where projects involve children or minors, the Client is fully responsible for compliance with the Employment (Children and Young Persons) Regulations.

The Client must ensure parental or guardian consent is obtained and that all welfare requirements are met.

Every Day In Singapore does not assume responsibility for monitoring or enforcing such compliance.

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Every Day In Singapore shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business or reputation.

We are not liable for disputes, payment issues, or contractual disagreements between Clients and Individuals.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Every Day In Singapore harmless from any claims or damages arising from your use of our services.

This includes liabilities arising from your engagement with Individuals or failure to comply with Singapore laws.

All content and branding on our website are owned by Every Day In Singapore.

Clients may not reproduce or use our sourcing methods or database information without written permission.

Both parties agree to keep all commercial terms and talent contact details confidential.

We reserve the right to decline requests or discontinue communication in cases of inappropriate or unlawful use of our services.

Clients agree to communicate respectfully and professionally at all times.

This standard of conduct also applies to the support ticket system. Messages must be respectful and relate to genuine enquiries about our services. We reserve the right to close a ticket if the conduct of the user is inappropriate or the ticket is being misused.

You must not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form or account on our website.

You must not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any part of our platform, including its infrastructure, databases, or other users' accounts.

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or take further action where we reasonably believe the platform is being misused.

By using this website, you acknowledge that we use cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, and analytics purposes as described in our Privacy Policy. Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled while using the site. You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
